Our Purpose

Goosebumps Co. was born from a single, simple belief: the wild waters of these isles belong to everyone — and everyone has a responsibility to protect them.

We're a cold-water swimming brand at heart, but the goosebumps don't stop at the water's edge. We're climbers, hikers, fell runners and adventurers too. We believe in the feeling that comes from a sea-loch dip in February, from a summit gained at dawn, from a rock face climbed in the rain. Cold. Wild. Alive.

Our wild waters are in trouble.

Sewage discharges into UK rivers and seas have reached record levels. Beaches once safe to swim from now carry warnings. The places that give us our goosebumps are quietly being stripped of the life that makes them what they are.

This is what Goosebumps Co. exists to change.

The 10% commitment.

We pledge 10% of all profits to the protection of the places we love. Every item sold puts money directly behind:

• Organised cleanups at popular wild-swimming locations across the UK — beaches, rivers, lochs, tarns and tidal pools.
• Independent water-quality testing at swim spots, with results published openly so swimmers know what they're getting into and polluters know they're being watched.
• Direct support for the organisations already in the fight — river trusts, surfing and swimming charities, citizen-science groups and other campaigners doing the hard, unglamorous work of holding the water-companies and the regulators to account.

Pressure changes things.

We use that data — and our growing community — to apply public, evidence-backed pressure on the polluters and on the regulators who are meant to hold them in check. Cleaner water won't come from polite letters. It comes from people who refuse to look away.

This is only the beginning.

We started with wild swimming because that's where the cold-water bug bit us first, and because the threat to our swim spots is the most urgent. Over time, Goosebumps Co. will reach further into the wider outdoors: climbing, hiking, trail running, bothy-bagging — wherever cold air meets warm hearts. Every part of the wild deserves the same fierce love and the same fierce protection.
